- On 5th March, 2019, Zhang Mao, director of the State Administration for Market Regulation, specified three main measures against counterfeit and poor-quality products for 2019.
First is the focus on key areas: food products, medicine, and products for children and elderly.
The second measure is stricter supervision and severe punishment enforcement in accordance with the law. Meanwhile, innovative supervision systems will be designed to reduce the counterfeit and poor-quality products.
The third measure is to strengthen self-discipline and social co-governance of enterprises, improve the social credit system and improve relevant laws and regulations.
