From 1 January 2019, only 18 ports will be allowed to handle solid waste imports, involving 16 Customs directly under GAC. These ports include Tianjin Port-Xingang, Shanghai Port-Waigaoqiao, Shanghai Port-Yangshan and Ningbo Port-Beilun.
