Seminar: EXPORTING DAIRY PRODUCTS TO CHINA - Zeist

CCIC Europe BV and TNO Triskelion recently held a seminar about exporting European dairy products to China. Over 50 attendees were present, including officials from the Chinese Embassy, Import & Export Food Safety Bureau of AQSIQ, the Dutch Ministry of NVWA, representatives from Dutch and other European dairy producers and well-known large food exporters such as Danone, FrieslandCampina and Mead Johnson.

Commercial Counselor of the Chinese Embassy Mr. Li Fei delivered the opening speech. Mrs. Li Minyan, managing director of CCIC Europe BV, introduced the services and business prospects of the company and the advantages the cooperation between CCIC and TNO Triskelion can bring. The main topics of the seminar included detailed introduction of laws and regulations on food safety and food labeling in China, risk assessment, registration, inspection and quarantine, retrospective review and risk management. Case studies and interactive discussions delivered lasting impressions to the audience.

The seminar successfully strengthened the audience’s understanding of regulations on food exporting to China and relevant inspection and analysis standards. The attending companies expressed their interest in future cooperation with CCIC, in order to export more high quality, safe food to China.
