In order to facilitate trading and supervision, on 28th of July 2016, the China Administration of Certification and Accreditation (CNCA) has issued the No.18 Announcement of 2016 for the release of the new Reference Table between CCC product categories and the HS Code system.
- CCC (China Compulsory Certification or 3C) is a mandatory requirement imposed on certain products sold in China market. While there is a list stating which product categories require CCC, it is not always clear whether a specific product belongs to one of such categories.
The new Reference Table allows easy assessment to see if your product(s) requires CCC or not by comparing the HS code directly to it.
It should be noted that this Reference Table is for reference only. For detailed description of the product categories belonging to the CCC scheme, the CNCA No.45 Announcement of 2014 must be referred to.
